About Yev Nosov

Born in Belarus, Yev Nosov moved to America at age 4 and began playing piano accordion at age 11.  In 2008, Yev started formal training with Patricia Bartell of Able To Play Studio.

At the young age of 22, Yev's credits include attending master classes with Peter Soave and world renown teacher Frederic Deschamps.  He also studied two weeks with Frederic Deschamps in France.  Yev played in the Pilgrim Baptist Church Orchestra for 6 years and is currently a bass accordionist for the Youth Accordion Orchestra.   Yev now helps lead a young radical accordion band called "The Portatos."

Yev has competed in the Leavenworth and Kimberly International competitions and currently plans to compete for the 2012 Trophy of USA in the CMA World Trophy for Accordion.  

Yev is a licensed Simply Music teacher for Able to Play Studio.
