Want to play great-sounding contemporary, blues, classical, accompaniment pieces and more – immediately – from your first lesson? At Able To Play Studio - we use the ‘Simply Music’ program for piano and accordion where everyone can play straightaway and enjoy.
In contrast to traditional methods, the Simply Music program uses an entirely new and far more natural approach, and focuses on the sheer fun of playing music.
The method employs a unique ‘playing-based’ approach that can be easily understood by children, teens, adults and seniors alike. Gone is the need to endure years of lessons, boring practice lessons and relentless hours of drills.
The bottom line is that Simply Music students get to feel the absolute satisfaction that comes from immediately learning how to play a huge repertoire of great- sounding music.
To develop students to their fullest musical potential through a natural approach to learning, integrating proper technique training, musicianship, application of theory, exploration, creative thinking, and most of all to have FUN as they learn and create.
As a teacher, I strive for excellence in my own music abilities and in my skills for educating the music student. This is pursued through music/teaching workshops, extensive research, continued private lessons for myself, adjudications, and festivals.
My purpose in teaching is to share the gift that was given to me, impart the love I have for music and to make music come alive for all my students.
